Anyone know if he'll be eligible to play against Charlton tomorrow night?

WoodleyRoyal never said it was perfect, but you know thats whats going to happen. Harte's to slow at LB so move him to CB

Would rather Bryn at CB than Harte tbf, and only in an absolutely dire emergency. Harte playing CB at Carlisle is not a barometer for the Championship.

Where, of course, lack of pace is of no concern at all.

Dont disagree, i think you can get away with it more at CB

So why all the moaning on the Barnsley "Back from the Game" thread about our lack of pace in central defence? :| Seems to me why push a ponderous left back into a position where there will be even less pace.

A back 4 of Cummings, Pearce, Kumalo and Mills looks way too inexperienced for me.

I think he is. Didn't play in their match against Torquay. Tough throwing him in at the deep end though.

Hopefully he's not as much of an utter intolerable cnut as his brother, though I doubt such levels of cnutness are humanly possible.

We tried to sign him when he was 12. Why does it take so long for us to complete transfers? It's Tommy Smith all over again. http://www.readingfc.co.uk/page/NewsDet ... 70,00.html

Here's hoping this is another Shorey.
The only downside is that Saints manager was in charge at Scunthorpe and was prepared to let Marcus Williams go on a free-he has now got two full-backs ahead of Mills at Southampton so you might think (bearing in mind how poor Williams has been)that Adkins knows a thing or two about left-backs whereas our manager's track record in signing left-backs is not very good.
Even a 3rd choice at Southampton though is probably better than Harte.

not me moaning, i think the issue was more that harte was next to pearce makng the left side rather slow, with a pacey full back the pace of the CB is less important imo
