That 1st half line up for tonight suggests we're likely to play 4-2-1-3 with (I'm guessing) McCleary behind Roberts and Hunt/Church on the wings?

McCleary left wing, Hunt right wing, Church/Roberts up top - surely?!

Royals fans are going to be well outnumbered tonight. There were probably around 100 of us at the first game, whereas Sheff Weds have more than a thousand fans here. There were also 34 arrests after their game with Sporting Lisbon on Sunday.

I expect you're right, or he may play Hunt up top with Church on the wing.

More importantly, are they going to broadcast the game on BBC Radio Berkshire this time?

Also heard from some Wednesday fans that a couple of Reading players had to carry a Weds player back to the hotel the other night as he was totally pissed up. Don´t know the names though.

Lets see if Reading beat that tonight, would be over a third of those that have travelled.........

SWFC site saying that around 400 of their fans currently out there following team. So maybe not quite as outnumbered now as first thought.

On second thoughts, this quote from Brian on the OS suggests the first half with Hunt and Roberts will not be 4-4-2:

"All the strikers will get 45 minutes, Pavel will play 45 minutes in the second half.

"First half we might play a different shape, second half will be 4-4-2."

As how we set up now may have a bearing on how we set up in the league, I suggest it's relevant.

And some people like speculating about formulations and you have no right to stop them just because it's not your thing.

So, possibly a 4-2-3-1 in the first half and a 4-4-2 in the second half I reckon.

It's the sheer nerve of someone with 22 measly posts lecturing a board titan like myself that I find aggravating. The spelling issues are just the icing on the cake.

^ This.

Yes, the towering titan with the high hairline is a condescending, supercilious arse most of the time ... but he is invariably correct.
