Isn't it just the case that a number of the more pessimistic posters have found less reason to post since we started winning. I don't see Royal Blue and Floyd Streete for example around so much these days.

They haven't been hypocritical in suddenly changing their tune, they've just gone a bit quiet. I am sure they are enjoying the current run (long may it last, fingers crossed and all that) as much as those of us who showed greater faith - they just choose not to demonstrate their feelings on every thread like they did when the going was tougher.

As I said previously, no criticism, it's just their character.

In fairness to you GC you have been resolute in your belief that the side would beat the drop. After Villa my money was on us going down. I would be delighted if we stayed up and certainly think we now will(cue 7 straight defeats).

I have to admit, expecting it to happen means I'm not feeling as awful as I did in 98, where, although we lost plenty of games, I seemed to make a habit of being a ones where we drew or won. I'm sure I will next week though, should we fail to get the result we need.
