Question is, is this going to be a known target or another out of the blue deal like Paddy Lane.

My guess - Doyle on loan with view to buy.

Brogue Ritchie and Cole done.

Should these not be announced by now if they are done?

Transfer team and photographer only work Tuesday to Friday

I stand corrected

Think if we could get Cole and Ritchie in now we’d be pretty good to go

Can Doyle play out wide, or is he best through the middle?

I would say preferably Cole/other striker and a pacey CB personally.

Think we've got loads of AMs/Wingers now... that's where Ritchie plays isn't it?

Ehibhatiomhan, Camara, Lane, Doyle, Kyerewaa, Osho, Elliott, Tuma, Okine-Peters...

Pretty sure Ritchie is FB nowadays

Dorsett can cover CB. I’d like to see him play a few games there and he is pretty quick

I can't say he's ever seemed very quick to me. In fact I've seen him beaten to the ball with a 5 yard head start multiple times. Plus he's made of glass.

Osho is pretty definitively not a RB at this point. He's an winger.

+1. We're almost there now. If O'Connor's injury is a bad one we'll definitely need another CB through the door.

I'm still not convinced by Cole, but we definitely need another striker. Two in an ideal world.

I’m not sure you get a pacy CB of any quality to come in and be 4th choice. I suspect O Connor and Burns are very much 1 and 2 with Stickland a capable back up. Dorsett, Yiadom, Jacob, maybe Fraser can back up if absolutely necessary and keep that other loan for emergency

I’d take Ritchie just as experience really and if he wants to help coach then great

I’m sure the full focus is on another CF now. I dont think we need anything else without killing the chances of the academy lads who look good enough to have a go

What’s first choice now I wonder - maybe

JP
Abrefa Burns O Connor Jacob
Wing Savage
Doyle
Lane O Mahony Kelvin

Stevens, Elliott, Stickland, Kyerewaa, Fraser, new CF?, Ritchie?

In reserve: Ryan, Camara, Dorsett, Rushesha, Osho, Ahmed, Yiadom, Borgnis, Sackey, Tuma…

It’s pretty strong. Just don’t play too high a line

There are others out there that are worth a punt that would be affordable now rather than Cole. With more potential and resell value. These spring to mind.
