windermereROYAL Why would they ease off when it`s only 1-0?

Difficult to maintain that level of intensity.

Well good that they’re hanging on in there and haven’t collapsed like at Rotherham so there’s still a chance of getting something and as the game wears on perhaps Sheffield will opt for defending the lead.

Fancy Long would suit this a bit better than Joao. Not got his old pace, but a bit smarter at running the channels and he's more likely to play for freekicks etc. Joao quite likes to try to stay om his feet and get the ball under control rather than win a foul or pop it off quick. Hopefuly he gets a good 20 / 30 minutes.

Agree Fornah should probably come on... would go Hendrick or Hutch for him probably.

I think I'd pair Long with Joao personally, if nothing else, it's another body in the box for us and one you'd be more likely to put money on to score if the chance came to poach a goal late on.

The first 15-20 minutes of the second half is crucial though, we concede as early as we did in the first and it's a real uphill battle from there.

DOn't think we can afford 2 strikers on the pitch and Joao is likely going to need a rest. Still only relatively recently back from injury. Done a fair amount of chasing too.

Not convinced TMac is quick enough to play CDM. Lost his man at times tonight but went unpunished.

We need to just stay in this and who knows.

Possibly, depends what shape Joao is in come the 75th minute I suppose.

I know it's not going to happen but, maybe even both Long and Kelvin E. May as well gamble it whilst the game is 1-0 and we are chasing the game.

Is this the first time pince has ever made a half time sub in the league? I’m sure it isn’t but it feels like it

Not the best start for Fornah, comes on, his man scores at the set piece.
