Focher I really don't know, do you?

Well before extra time in the Liverpool game when McDermott was speaking to the players on the pitch, the pitch side commentator said he was using "old fashioned language", which I'd say is a pretty good indicator.

what like Henry VIII?

Verily.

Ambivalent about his appointment as I think any manager, even the stars with fantastic track records, would find it equally, if not more, difficult to turn around our season given the 'backing' from above.

If we do go down this season, it would be extremely difficult to blame either manager, given the antics of the Scissor Brothers.

Are you serious? If we go down its down to Rodgers and McDermott, they are responsible for team selection and getting results.

he's nailed on cert. cheap and wants the job, where as with the cutbacks here, it's a less appealing job to many a rated manager. sure it'll be confirmed soon, unless of course the rumours of a takeover are true, but I still see BM here till the summer

Based on what Hammond has said recently (not been asked to draw up a shortlist) and the fact that it's been over a month without even the slightest squeak from the board as to Rogers' successor, it would be a certainty that McD is here for the season.

I just wish they'd make up their mind!

Just the three signings in this window of course. Two on Premiership wages.

If we go down it will be the fault of the players, coaching staff and management.

Just a hunch, but it may have something to do with a loan signing?

I would have thought they'd have given people a bit more time to sign up than a few hours tbf though. Maybe it was last minute.
