Bristol Paul Yiadom showing why he was dropped with that substitute appearance. So far past his sell by date. Half decent second half performance from the team without ever really looking like they could make it count.

Yiadom has been at the club far too long. He really needs to move on

He is oxf*rd shiiite.

NathStPaul Royal Jimmy's mum will have to be putting on the waterproof bed sheets tonight. Poor lad is going to soak his mattress right through otherwise.

Yes, always thought he was an utterly baffling signing, came from a perpetually relegation threatened club and sure as anything that mindset rubbed off on everyone.

That said I do not understand the logic of playing Bindon at right back when Yiadom is fit but obviously Selles seems to be deciding that anyone who has played in the Championship for Reading for the last 2 seasons or more should be moved on asap.

Was surprised to see Abrefa start for the u21s on Friday after Yiadom took a knock last weekend. This game would have been a good opportunity for him to get a run out. Not saying it would have changed anything, but Burton's lack of threat would have been a good confidence builder for the Abbey/Bindon CB partnership after Blackpool.

Honestly wouldn't complain if we never saw Yiadom again at this point.

Bit harsh in Yiadom, he’s been a good player for us overall in some awful teams

He’s still things to offer, but shoving him on at LB with 10m to go certainly isn’t ideal. Should have come on for Binden rather than Carson

Yiadom at left back away to cov a few years ago was one of the worst defensive displays I’ve ever seen from anyone.

I like him but like femi he always leaves me wanting more. Fine in the middle but just doesn’t do it well enough where it matters.

Yids seems a lot more headless chickeny than before too.

Sutekh Presuming now that Yiadom isn’t rated by the management

Selles said afterwards that he hadn't been training

Yeah Yiadom has been a good servant over the years and hasn't individually been the problem in our defence over the years, although he has been part of the collective as well and I do think he's gone backwards a bit over the last couple of years. He's a bit rash, but generally pretty solid and we've had worse players in our defence.
