winchester_royal It's so nice to see we've chosen to go with a manager who believes in playing football the right way. Must have been tempting for NH and JM to opt for the higer profile Adie Boothroyd.
Don't wish to tempt fate, but yet again it looks like they've done yet another sterling job in this process. Hammond gets an awful lot of abuse on this board, but it is no coincidence that he has been a major factor in our recent success.

Scrappy I think what he meant was that when he was at Chelsea he was sent on various scouting missions to watch Reading play, looking at our style etc and remarked that the atmosphere was superb. This wouldn't suprise me as many of the youth coaches at various clubs are utilized as scouts aswell.
