Sutekh Clyde1998 Think I'm right in saying Luton have levelled the record for shortest time between entering the Football League and reaching the top flight (with Wimbledon) - nine years. Shows clubs can still reach the Premier League simply by signing the right players, without having a huge budget.
Not quite equalled it yet they haven't. If they don't agree a ground share with the muppets down the road or the franchise thing up the road they will be refused entry to the PL as their ground currently fails to meet PL regulations.
People keep saying this, but I've seen nothing official stating they be refused entry, nor have to play games away from their home, if they don't build a new media suite and camera positions etc.
Yes, the work has to be done, but there's little evidence that any threat of a ban exists.
