Doncaster at home has to be the nicest way to bounce back from wasting 3 points...

either that or they let us play Sheff Weds again :P

I see a hammering on Tuesday... And i expect one 8)

We shouldn't always be relying on home wins though.

i am disgusted, i thought we were on a run, that result is key, if we had won that game i would have had little doubt we'd get automatic promotion but more away day blues will sap confidence, we're in for a dogfight, that result has changed our season

Exactly. In that respect it's a bit like last season, the pressure to keep winning at home keeps on increasing. We need to close out more away matches, we've now led in the last three and only come away with four points. Not good enough if we want automatic promotion.

Not that I'm complaining, really, we're still doing better than I expected us to pre-season.

No, it hasn't. It's had all the impact of the other 45/46ths of the season.

we started third.... we finished 3rd.... what changed?

IF we lose to Doncaster, then ill be worried...

travelling two thirds of the country after an international break was never going to be easy

and even though we threw it away, we still has a decent(ish) performance, if Ivar and USA hadnt made the mistake for the equaliser it woulda been ours all day long.

Tuesday and next Saturday will show what we're made of... no point worrying right now

Archie's penalty 3 days off HNA for me then.

My predicitions; Schards beaming and shaking out more negativity, Royalee back on here glowing.

Ugh, ugh, ugh.
As I've already said on another thread - Schards isn't happy at all and he's certainly not beaming. Just because he doesn't think we'll do well this season doesn't mean he doesn't want us to. but you know that already really.

I dont see how the result is 'key'.

If one result at this stage of the season changes your mind about automatic promotion than you are fickle.

It sounds like we played well apart from two lapses in concentration which cost us. Its not good enough really but how often do we see calamities like we did today.

Move on to Tuesday and the backlash that faces Doncaster......

We will be top at Christmas.

The players need to get the whole away day hoodoo out of their heads.

And the management need to get all of the B*ll*cks about long trips after internationals out of their heads. Even if there was any truth in it, we should have enough quality in our team to be able to counter the effect.

Failing that, strengthen the squad so we don't have to rely on any tired international players.

We just need to shake it off. Plenty of chances created in the first half and in the closing minutes. Beating Wolves away shows me we have it in us. Just a bump on the road.

this was nothing more than a minor blip. shit happens seems like we were unfortunate in losing. 6 points in next 2 games will keep us where we need to be
