At this point in the season? That amazes me.

Wimb
Kitson12 As much as I think Howard can be crap, I don't think we should let him go out on loan. He's useful, freekicks, corners, and valuable cover.

This and he's just generally not half as bad as people think :| what's the point letting him go on loan now when we need every possible option we've got to go for this play-off spot

Agree with . He is capable of being very good, but he looks half-fit
and not caring enough most of the time. I'd say "lightweight" but
that doesn't quite sound right.

Maybe we are bringing a player IN?

Shirley we need to keep him as cover, and he offers something different. I realise he isn't flavour of the month any more, but if we have any more injuries we'll need him

Can't tackle, can't pass, can't head, too lightweight, goes missing, doesn't score.

Thats not 'creative', just crap.

Good luck Brian.

Harsh, but definately an element of truth to it.

If they are careless, expect George Michael to make an appearance. This can only be good news. Howard does not fit into our style of play. We continue to concentrate our attacking down the wings which renders him a tad surplus to requierments.

This is a bit disappointing considering we are supposed to be harbouring ambitions of getting in the play-offs.

I hope there's a recall clause.

I expect he'll be off in the summer then. Won't be losing to much sleep over it though.

Saints forum and local paper have this common theme throughout...

Just the signing we need. He will run the midfield and has a goal or two in him. I would be confident that we would get auto with this signing but can we have Antonio as well please.

Saints fans loved Antonio, shame our manager does not.

saints fans loved him in Div 1............
he gets his fair share of appearances in the championship, and in not a single one of them has he come out and proved he deserves a shot at starting just yet. he looks very very raw, but someone who could cause oppositions problems late in games.
BMcDs policy of training him on, while giving him a few opportunitys as a sub is exactly right in my opinion.

Have a differing view to that. For the "minutes" he has had there are real promising moments etc, but minutes is not good enough to judge him on and deserves better.
