mr_number 1) How much do people care?
2) How far do you expect us to go this year?

Anything less than quarter finals will obviously be regarded as failure for me, and if Brian doesn't live up to his word of going one step further than last year, I will be disappointed as well.

1) People Care ! I love the romance of the FA Cup hence joining 4,532 TAMWORTH Fans at Everton tomorrow (COME ON YOU LAMBS). It will remind of the games like against Sunderland at EP 2-1 and the 3-3 Draw next round against Newcastle Gilke's last min equaliser. Underdogs v the Elite surely you haven't forgot Anfield 2 years ago !!!!!!!!!!!!
2) Struggle tomorrow 4th round if lucky

Sadly, I find it impossible to summon up any enthusiasm for a competition who's sole terrestrial tv broadcaster is ITV.

Who broadcast it before Sky existed?

Ian Royal Care a fair bit - out in 4th round - we're due a poorer year.

I care a fair bit too & on the same note we're due a better year, (glass half full etc.)

I still care and like to see the little teams do well.Hope fleetwood can cause an upset against blackpool..

I think its a bit crap how itv have picked man utd v man city...Its just gonna be 2 reserve sides.Would much rather see a minnow against a bigger team.I know its a ratings winner and ratings means money but...still i think its shit

Jackson Corner
mr_number Absolutely. If we don't make at least the Quarter Finals, then we're going backwards, and I think everyone at the club, especially the management team, will have to take a long hard look at themselves.

A hyperthetical question I know but should we be drawn away to Man City in round 4. And you believe it to be a complete failure if we fail to win. How do you propose we go out and beat the worlds richest football club that has won every home game this season and not lost at home for 18 months?

"The magic of the cup". Also, improve on last season's performance.

No just a diffrent game where the 2 teams at least care a little bit about the fa cup to compliment the peterborough v sunderland game that follows....I hate the way the fa cup is devalued by some teams. Its a shame....

Can I just mention at this stage that this is a far worse result in the FA Cup playing a full strength side, than Coppell ever had playing reserves.

Of course that won't dispel the myth that he didn't take it seriously or try and win matches and progress despite rotating the team.
