winchester_royal Good news, doesn't clash with the Grand National now. 8)

This is great news, I was struggling to get the day off. Missed Forest away last year because of it

T.R.O.L.I. Happy enough with that - should (hopefully) mean a lot fewer daytrippers even though it is during the Easter holidays.

You say that but at Derby there were loads of kids and this one being shortner travelling time may encourage more daytrippers.

I blame the team for all these late fixture changes. If only we were looking at a mid table finish, Sky wouldn't touch us.

My mistake. Saw the thread, checked the OS which didn't mention it,
so thought it was a crap joke (Friday 13th etc)

(Selfishly) delighted. Couldn't go, now means I can watch it up in Liverpool night before attending the national. :)

The off key shriek of balls dropping was doing my nut.

Good for the club. Don't they get £100,000 or so?

In a season of dire away fixtures anyway, this just about sums it up. With trips to Brighton & Southampton moved to midweek looks like we are going to go a whole season without a decent away day. Dump.

All this just to appease a few couch based flunkeys. I might make the train connections home by leaving 15 minutes fronm the end. Still, given the tripe we serve up on the pitch that may be no bad thing. There really are some strange people who work in TV. Why can`t they just fcuk off and leave us alone.

Pompey and Brizzle were mid week trips no wonder our away support has been so low this season.

Yeah, cos any kid in a crowd of 521 at Derby on a Tuesday night can be looked at down the nose as a daytripper. :| At least they and their parents made the effort, unlike a lot of our "true" fans. Taking advantage of half-term to allow their kids to attend a midweek match they wouldn't normally get to see. Good on them.

Think we are getting a little mixed up here.

Just because they are kids it doesn't make them a day tripper.

Lol at Rex's tongue in cheek comment. The varying levels of vocal harmony at the back of the stand was a sound that was indescribable.
