I thought reading fans were obsessed with westham a bit over the years, but reading this thread it appears to be the entire football league
I can't believe all the Reading fans who stormed the pitch today to help us celebrate our successful relegation battle!

I'm glad for them. It must have been heart breaking to come so close last season. Not many teams would be able to come back from that and win the title.

LOL, he's not bitter is heI respect what they have done- the run they are on is truly amazing- and has blown us and others out of the water. But I haven't got it in me to congratulate them. Not because they have gone up automatically and we haven't but because they are an intensely dislikable club and have been for years. I agree that McDermott is a terrific coach but his team take gamesmanship to horrible levels and many of their fans are the epitome of plastic.
Gamesmanship?!!
Strange our disciplinary record is so good. Maybe our players are brilliant at covering up the gamesmanship so that the officials don't see it/take action.
And who has bubble machines?

Yep, can't stand them. Nothing team. Got murdered @ Brighton, pulled off spawny win. We murdered them. They won 3-1.
Last nite Forest shots 23--8ont Reading 11--4ont
I've been watchin Sky Sports (which might as well be called Royals TV today the ammount of coverage they gettin) and its really annoying me.

He makes a good point. As a gesture of goodwill we should be willing to let the Championship be decided by points accrued over the whole season rather than just on our recent run of form.

Agreed. They all seem very humble and genuine in wishing us well.
As for - why do we care what others are saying:
Football is a community, we have a relationship with every club they we play and it's interesting to read their views, thoughts, etc. just my personal view.
That's what dropping down a couple of leagues and having to fight hard to get back up without some sugar daddy just spunking wads of cash all over the place, does for you.
