Liam_Baggies Hi,

As a moderator on Westbrom.com we run a weekly View from the opposition where I ask you a set of questions and you reply with answers. I was wondering whether you would take time to participate in the questionnaire and I shall post the final article in this topic later on this week.

I must apologies to the Admin/Mods If I have broken any rules or have put this topic in the wrong place. So, you have my apologies.

I also apologise for coming at such time after your defeat earlier today.

1. What have been your thoughts on your start to the season so far? We've done OK. We're just warming up.
2. What are your thoughts on our start to the season so far? You've started very well.
3. You had a remarkable season last year, what have you made of your summer transfer business in preperation for the Premier League? I'm happy. Pogrebnyak is a great signing, as is guthrie. We've done shrewd business.
4. What have you made of our summer transfer business? Don't know much about it TBH.
5. We've been seen as a yo-yo club in recent years, what are your thoughts on WBAFC as a club alongside its supporters? Positive or negative, we don't bite :D I don't know. I get the impression your fans are nicer chaps than the likes of Villa and Birmingham, but that's just an impression.
6. What are you expecting for the rest of the season and where do you think you will finish? 10th.
7. What are you expecting from us for the rest of the season and where do you think we shall finish? Mid table.
8. What team is Brian McDermott most likely to put out? Same as last match.
9. Are there any players in our side that you fear? and who should we fear in your side? Shane Long.
10. And finally, score predictions? 1-1

Thanks for taking part, here's to an enjoyable game and I wish you all that are attending a very safe journey down to the Black Country.

1. What have been your thoughts on your start to the season so far?

Deserved the point against Stoke, Deserved a point at Chelsea, Deserved fuck all against Tottenham. Pretty Shit - but the Chelsea game showed what Reading are about.

2. What are your thoughts on our start to the season so far?

Good. Here's to hoping you repeat the performance of last week.

3. You had a remarkable season last year, what have you made of your summer transfer business in preperation for the Premier League?

Not bad. Garath McCleary looks very good. Which surprises me because he was a very "meh" signing for me. Need more options up front, and our bench should strike fear in all but Barcelona (u12s)

4. What have you made of our summer transfer business?

On paper, the signing of Lukaku looks very good. I signed him on Fifa 12, and he was a beast. This of course means nothing if he cannot capture the form that he had in Anderlecht.

5. We've been seen as a yo-yo club in recent years, what are your thoughts on WBAFC as a club alongside its supporters? Positive or negative, we don't bite

I quite like WBA. Except for when Robert Koren scored against us in every match we had in the 09/10 season. But I am an Aussie and am not sure about your fans. I have only been away to Derby, and if your fans are the same as them then I would say that you are tops.

6. What are you expecting for the rest of the season and where do you think you will finish?
15th-20th

7. What are you expecting from us for the rest of the season and where do you think we shall finish?
10th-15th

8. What team is Brian McDermott most likely to put out?

As it is away, he may stick with 4-5-1. Worked well against Chelsea and all.

9. Are there any players in our side that you fear? and who should we fear in your side?

I would say Odemwingie, but he went and chucked a wobbly. So I will say Long. But secretly think that he will miss every chance on purpose. For us, Pog and McCleary.

10. And finally, score predictions?

An Optimistic 1-2

1. What have been your thoughts on your start to the season so far? Chelsea and Tottenham games don't really count because we are competing at opposite ends of the table. The remaining game we draw at home to Stoke - that is a tad shit!
2. What are your thoughts on our start to the season so far? Well beating Liverpool caught people's attention but their manager's Brendan Rodgers so it's hardly an achievement. I can't say I've really noticed anything else but I see you have 7 points and are 6th which seems pretty good!
3. You had a remarkable season last year, what have you made of your summer transfer business in preperation for the Premier League? I'm very positive because we didn't have to sell any first teamers and still bought Pog (even though Fulham wanted him), Guthrie (who is a longstanding Premier League player), Chris Gunter (been solid so far) and McCleary (our player of the season so far). We also bought Marriapa who hasn't played yet but is a quality player to have in reserve!
4. What have you made of our summer transfer business? I've rated Lukaku for a long time so him on loan was a steal! Have you signed anyone else?
5. We've been seen as a yo-yo club in recent years, what are your thoughts on WBAFC as a club alongside its supporters? Positive or negative, we don't bite You are pretty much a non club. No history or controversy of note and so don't evoke any emotions in me. Similar, in that respect, to Fulham. Tbf, if I supported someone else I'd probably class Reading in this bracket.
6. What are you expecting for the rest of the season and where do you think you will finish? In November last year we were in the relegation zone. I expect to be in there till christmas this year. But under McDermott the league season doesn't really start till you've started in the FA cup! So we'll probably be fine and finish 14th (and hopefully a good cup run!)
7. What are you expecting from us for the rest of the season and where do you think we shall finish? Probably bumble along and finish about 10th. Certainly don't really have to worry about relegation.
8. What team is Brian McDermott most likely to put out? McCarthy, Gunter, Gorkks, Pearce, Shorey, McCleary, Guthrie, Leigertwood, McCanuff, Le Fondre, Pog
9. Are there any players in our side that you fear? and who should we fear in your side? Long because he is quality at winning penalties & lukaku. McCleary has been our best player so far but without someone good in the middle it shouldn't be too problematic
10. And finally, score predictions 0-0. Probably a bit dull tbh.

Liam_Baggies 1. What have been your thoughts on your start to the season so far? Stoke fine, Chelsea fine, Spurs poor
2. What are your thoughts on our start to the season so far? 3 solid results out of 4, should satisfy
3. You had a remarkable season last year, what have you made of your summer transfer business in preperation for the Premier League? cheap but fine, like McCleary especially
4. What have you made of our summer transfer business? the same, apparently. the incoming loans look good
http://www.premierleaguetransfers.net/y ... -transfers
5. We've been seen as a yo-yo club in recent years, what are your thoughts on WBAFC as a club alongside its supporters? Positive or negative, we don't bite i like the crest
6. What are you expecting for the rest of the season and where do you think you will finish? still expecting not to be in bottom three, new owner will likely spend in jan if necessary
7. What are you expecting from us for the rest of the season and where do you think we shall finish? um, 13th
8. What team is Brian McDermott most likely to put out? same as last week, hopefully roberts or alf for karacan
9. Are there any players in our side that you fear? and who should we fear in your side? im tiring of this, sorry
10. And finally, score predictions? 2-1 WBA, apparently I'm in a bad mood

Thanks for taking part, here's to an enjoyable game and I wish you all that are attending a very safe journey down to the Black Country.

1. What have been your thoughts on your start to the season so far? Par for the course
2. What are your thoughts on our start to the season so far? You are doing nicely, well done Clarke
3. You had a remarkable season last year, what have you made of your summer transfer business in preperation for the Premier League? I think we've upgraded our positions of weakness and added genuine depth and competition at every spot... except left back, where we needed an upgrade and got a broken Shorey. Guthrie and Pogrebnyak look excellent acquisitions
4. What have you made of our summer transfer business? Lukaku is a lovely player, tbh I don't know much about the others
5. We've been seen as a yo-yo club in recent years, what are your thoughts on WBAFC as a club alongside its supporters? Positive or negative, we don't bite :D Got to be honest, I have very few thoughts about WBA. I really liked your style of play under Di Matteo and you've had some quality players over recent years, particularly in midfield
6. What are you expecting for the rest of the season and where do you think you will finish? Not sure, 10th-19th. We should be fine.
7. What are you expecting from us for the rest of the season and where do you think we shall finish? You won't pull up any trees but you definitely won't be relegated. 10th-16th
8. What team is Brian McDermott most likely to put out? McCarthy; Gunter, Pearce, Gorkss/Mariappa, Harte; McCleary, Guthrie, Leigertwood, McAnuff; Le Fondre, Pogrebnyak
9. Are there any players in our side that you fear? and who should we fear in your side? I fear practically everyone on your side. If Long wasn't an ex-Royal he'd destroy us, but I think McDermott will be alert to his threat. You should fear Pogrebnyak.
10. And finally, score predictions? Heart says 2-0 Reading and I am not listening to my head.
