3-2 Norwich followed by a HNA negativity explosion.

simply put an absolute must win game but I think a 1-1 draw is the mosrt likely outcome.

2-0 Reading

1-0 after 10 minutes and we defend the lead until Le Fondre wraps it up in the 89th.

Jackson Corner
Silver Fox 1-0 to us, the winner going in off of Chris Foy's arse

That still pisses me off to this day. It was down to his laziness not making any effort to get out the way...

1-1 We lead sit back inevatable leveler.

I screamed blue murder that evening. This is one law that rugby has got right, if the ball touches the referee it is immediately declared a dead ball and play is brought back for a scrum. That Norwich example screamed out to me that there is a need for a similar ruling in football (except it would be a competed drop-ball not a scrum (obviously!)

Can the men from Colman's country cut the mustard in the pressure cooker atmosphere of a seething, snarling Mad Stad?

Noticed vs Arsenal the numbers chanting McD's name were few. Another home defeat could see the few reduce further and I hope not, but some turn to boo's. I really don't fancy us against anyone any more. A solid first half will give us false hope and then the second will see us throw it all away again.

Reading 1 - 2 Norwich (Roberts), (Holt 2)

Lose this and it won't look good at all.

Draw this and it won't look too much better.

We really must win.

If not this week, then at least next (against tougher opposition).

I wonder if Katsia, dolled up in her "professional day wear" slurring "let's be having ya!", might improve our second half performance?

Hope not. I'd rather concede another 4 on Saturday and have McCarthy come straight back in and then we start winning games. Taylor deserves a chance, otherwise what was the point in bringing him in??

1-1, Noel Hunt.

Cue massive 'worst team in history' overreaction. I once again seek refuge in 'The Calm Thread'.
