Id be interested to see GB's reaction to Jim McIntyre being in that team.

He was definately one of the better Burns signings.

Yeah, Kromheer. This leads me to Peter Van der Flap in goal, although Sheppard is a good shout.

Paul Holsgrove as a waste of space midfielder any day.

I can't believe you've put Uwe in there. Paul Brayson has to be ahead of him!

Especially when Burns realised that he wasn't an out and out forward and played him wide. He was very good in a lot of games in his last season with us.

No Fixed Abode Who was that foreign centre back, played in the early days at the Mad Stad? I'll do some digging...hold on....

Found him

Elroy Kromheer

Was excellent on one of the Championship Managers. For that reason alone, I'm very glad Reading signed him.

Also agree that it's harsh on McIntyre. Will always remember him scoring an important goal for us on TV in a 1-0 win on a Friday night. Home to someone like Forest or Wigan?

Colin Gordon (although he did suffer from having to replace Trev - and he did score those goals against Chelsea)
Francis Joseph
Steve Moran (biggest disappointment ever as far as I am concerned)
Greg Halford
Marek Matejovsky

Evidently I have missed a few! However I agree with the Scott Murray one but I have no judgement on Elory!

Shepherd was always shit and was never expected to be any good, so I’m not sure he was a flop. Bobby Mihailov would be a better shout imo.

True, aldo there's a lot of midfielders being named, so we could revert back to 4-4-2 with Keith Scott and Robert Flack up front.

marcusopp A few people have eluded to some previous signings that haven't gone 'quite as well as expected' over this transfer window, so how about a flops XI?
I'll get us started...

GK ?
RB ?
LB Joe Mills (bit harsh, but can't think of anyone else)
CB Martin Keown
CB Matt Mills
LM Jim McIntyre
CM Kalifa Cisse
RM Emerse Fae
CF Robert Flack
CF Keith Scott
CF Uwe Hartenburger (great name, but a flop)

GK: Van der Kwaak
RB: Gurney
LB: Bodin
CB: Kromheer
CB: Khumalo
CM: Evers
CM: Reilly
LW: Crawford
RW: Fae
CF: Brayson
CF: Mooney

Can't even remember exactly where Evers, Crawford and Reilly played, but it was somewhere in midfield and they were crap. How the likes of Houghton, Jones, Fleck, Scott and Sheppard have avoided getting in my team I'm not entirely sure.

Meaker should be in there. I remember being quite excited when we signed him and he was utter shit for us.

Goater yes, not so sure about Brooker, he did ok with limited ability. What about Murray? Started with loads of promise which he never fulfilled.
