HRK plays and Cox is dropped?

In fact HRK playing and anyone being dropped to let him get a game is mystifying.

Think Akpan is giving a rough time by many. As it's been said does the things others don't. I personally think it's a blow him injured.....and Guthrie too. Also agree, what a thing to say you hope a player has a career threatining injury..........

I don't agree it's good, but it does look rather like Guthrie's career is essentially over, this is the second or third time he's quickly broken down again after coming back from injury for us.

Can only assume Cox is carrying a bit of a knock as he's been brought off most games and is now on the bench. He's been pretty threatening and is our top scorer, so it's a bit odd to be a tactical choice.

Glad Kuhl's getting more opportunity. Hope he takes it in both hands and keeps Akpan out from now on. Akpan gets a raw deal, but he really is the least talented of our midfielders by some distance. Even if he does bring some slightly different qualities to the likes of Norwood, Guthrie & Kuhl.

Because our manager hasn't got a clue

I would guess that after playing Saturday Tuesday for a couple of weeks Adkins is freshening things up and giving Cox a rest. To me that seems a sensible thing to do, we have a squad for a reason.

Edwards and HRK are also quicker than Cox and Taylor IMO, so maybe Adkins has identified a weakness to pace in Brentford's side.

Balls. More defensive errors. Gunter failing to stop a cross and Obita failing to defend the back post again?

Perfect away performance from Brentford. Soak up the pressure, capitalise on errors and put away your few chances.

This is really bad. A particularly depressing kind of almost certain loss.
