Well, I didn't go home and weep into my pillow or anything. And it's not the end of the world, we could go one better next season.

But I still care that we didn't go up. You want your team to win on the big occasions and I was gutted that we didn't.

Yeah - but some DO take it waaaaay too seriously. Not saying you do btw.

I wanted to win a Playoff Final more than be back in the Premier League. Had we gone up, we would have had to spend mountains of millions to attempt to stay up. It isn't fun and it isn't competitive and as much as I hope I'm wrong, Huddersfield will be thumped most weeks, finish in the bottom 3 (along with Brighton and one other) and come down with a fair few players who were sold to them as good enough but not good enough even for the Championship.

Whereas for us, we can go again next season with a clean slate and with pretty much the same team in an exciting league with competitive clubs trying to achieve the promotion to a money focused league which a lot of us clearly aren't bothered about
