hughsies no.1 Know I shouldn’t moan given we have a Club to support and I love the openness we’ve seen from Couhig - BUT all this firework talk is painful, can’t stick it myself and can’t stick that song they’re trying to shove down our throats before every game.

I know it’s a high class problem complaining about a song and some fireworks after what we’ve been through - and the newcomers Saturday and the ‘you’re in my seat, please sit down police’ will love it. Just not for me.

Anyway, on the pitch - let’s hope we kick on from Stevenage and we see higher fitness levels and get off to a flying start again.

So a new owner trying to engage with kids and encourage the next generation of supporters is a bad thing? OK I get you're not a fan of fireworks but compared with the recent past this is light years ahead of previous regimes. As a supporter of 65 years I can tell you things have been grim at times. Applaud him for what he's trying, he won't get it right every time but at least he's giving it a decent shot.

Not against it myself. No different to the fan led theme days we had before. Just more spectacular, and what's the word? American.

No thank you to the AI slop the club are using to advertise it though.

Annoying though it is, it is unfortunately the 21st century and the club are right to exploit whatever ideas and tools they have available to get the attention of "floating" fans and hopefully attract them to games. If they fail, well at least they tried.

Ultimately though it's a winning team that does the best advertising.

We all started somewhere, the Norfolk Rd seats, the Tilehurst End or maybe straight onto the South Bank and I can imagine a lot of the old school use to hate us as youngsters p**sing about with our mates but its where the belonging to the football club began

I use to hate the rumble sticks and the clacker card things but then you have kids and they start sitting beside you and you realise that they're the future of keeping the club alive

All of us who travel away with RFC know that Reading station on a Saturday morning is filled with numerous London clubs who suck a lot of the young supporters away from the Madejski

So especially after the last few years any new supporters who willingly stick with the club can only be welcomed

Not a fan of fireworks personally but I’m absolutely loathe to criticise anyone trying something new and different. And let’s face it he’s been a lot more successful than us lot at whatever he’s done so he’s doing something right

I’d suggest it’s a 5-3-2

Pereira
Abrefa Dorset Danny Des Randell
Savage Wing Ritchie
Doyle WiFi

Rino on bench

More likely a back 4 with Dorsett at Left Back I'd have thought.

No Lane or DK in the match day squad. Injuries I assume.

Anyone have any idea how to use the live video match pass now? They’ve changed the website and I just seem to be going around in circles.

Click on Royals TV from the menu. Log in and then click "watch Match" (or something like that).

All I have is “buy video pass”. There is no “watch match”.

The app has been “upgraded” too. Despite being logged in successfully absolutely no clue or information as to how the hell to access the video or audio coverage or how to buy a pass if you don’t have one. Yet another brilliant RFC “improvement”.

Can get BBC Berks coverage on t’internet though
