Agree Coppell is far too astute to go for the post at least until theres a root and branch clear out of the old boy blazer clingon brigade at the FA.
Sir Steve would not be given anything like the time or freedom to "create the right blend" in the side which would almost certainly mean getting rid of the premadonna ego artist flops.No Sir Steve is very happy with his present situation and I would we shocked if he were to accept the post in the current circumstances.
If Sir Steve does go anywhere after his RFC days i`d love to see him shake up the England team (also it means he wouldnt be at a rival club!)but I cant see him wanting the bollocks that goes with it.
My guess is Sir Steve has an eye on chilling out with a cold beer on a beach and an afternoons round of golf once he feels he has taken RFC as far as he can and neatly passed on the baton .
