Ian Royal Boro was significant.
Citeh was huge.
1st time we've had two wins on the bounce
1st time we've had two clean sheets on the bounce?
We competed the whole game, though it wasn't pretty a lot of the time.
Luck went our way, with the Corluka effort and the penalty appeals.
Some of the old zip and flair was back.
We now go into a game against Liverpool who have a lot on their mind, knowing that we can beat them and that we play better against the top sides.
Coppell will certainly stick to the same gameplan I'd have thought, as it seems to be designed to wear down the other team and tire them out, then hit them really hard in the last 30 minutes. Given Liverpool's other commitments it seems the perfect plan, and we know it and the formation works!
All season we've been capable of going on a run if we could just find a bit of form. Now we are on the verge of realising that and it's catapulting us up the table. There are easily 3 worse teams than us, but it's just been a question of whether we can actually play to something near our potential.
Personally I'd like to see one of Sunderland or Birmingham go down, because i think if Keagan can stay at Newcastle it leaves them weak for next season. Bolton are in a bit of disarray and Wigan are pereneal strugglers at the moment. Whereas I think brum and Sunderland could strengthern significantly.

cmonurz It has often been posted that the 'doom-mongers' would be posting 'I told you so' in the event that we are relegated. How deliciously ironic then that we are getting the same now after ONE win. Yes, we won, yes, it is a great result, but if we start to take points for granted like '2 world wars, 1 world cup' has been for some time now, then it won't take long for things to start looking pants again.
Man City and Liverpool in our next two - a point from those two would normally be a good result, but we desperately need 3.
