Upper West Ginger "Oi! Hunt. Get yer 'air cut, you 'orrible little man!"
Seriously though, I've noticed that as he has a habit of running with his head down, when he does bother to look up (eventually) he can't see anything because his hair is in the way.
I think giving him a haircut would improve the quality of his crosses. Bizarre suggestion, I appreciate, but perhaps with a grain of sense in it ...

Wasn't he already told once to get his hair cut shorter as Coppell wouldn't allow him to wear an alice band

Handsome Man
Forbury Lion
BigSCOT Like to see TABB start in front of HUNT on saturday !!
Will happen..... If Coppell picks Hunt at left back.

It's the best option at the moment: we need to improve the distribution from the back

Why would Coppell pick Hunt over Armstrong.

Armstrong has been probably our best and definately our most consistent player (sorry apart from Shunt, who has been consistently Cr*p).
So start Tabb, let him have a run.
Rest Hunt. Probably needs some time to get his haor sorted out.

I didn't boo when Shunt went off, think that is bad. But I did jump up and down shout and cheer as soon as I saw his number come up. I think I almost cried with joy..

the performances shunt has put in off late are obviously way below par but i would say it is unfair to question his commitment to the cause. if anything it is just his ability as a footballer and a complete lack of confidence. in the 2nd half on tues he managed to beat a man and get a decent cross in which is something he hasnt done in a long time. it does seem to be evident that he thinks he is immovable from the starting 11 and with him being taken off mid-week and hopefully either kebe or tabb starting on the left tomorrow he may buck his ideas up.

I'm not a "Hunt out!" sort , but I almost want him to be left out soon, simply to finally dispose of the vein of Hobnob philosophy that persists in thinking that the problem is individuals. Once Hunt is dropped the baying hounds will have had their way and Reading will at last have a team that chops and changes each week. Then it may be realised by more people on this board that THE TEAM as a whole has a problem, which has affected the success of individual members. Or I suppose posters may just go on to calling for further stalwarts to be dropped, say Doyle or Duberry.

Didn't hear any booing in Y20 just cheers of relief and the fact that he was being subbed , at last. He was awful on Tuesday and has been underperforming for some weeks. I would say he has felt immune from being dropped or subbed after Convey left. Let's hope the arrival of Little and the possible left wing useage of Kebe can bring a higher level of performance. The mention of Kitson turned Long into a goalscoring double hero overnight. It is that 100% commitment that the team needs in every game until the end of the season.
