Well done, you've cottoned on to what most of us noticed at least 2 months ago.

If Rodgers was not sacked, we would be comfortable now. Still a pathetic decision to sack him.

What planet are you on? We've played three games, two of them against teams significantly better than us so far this season! How on earth could we be comfortable now? If we couldn't beat Scunthorpe under Rodgers what makes you think he'd have got a win in any of those games?

He certainly wouldn't have won all of them which is the only thing that might have made us comfortable now!

The idiocy of that statment is just indescribable.

Come on then, lets see you support that we'd be comfortable NOW with Rodgers still in charge...

Saw more games last year than I have so far this season. You don't like what I say, argue with it. Your problem is you can't, because I'm right, so you slur me instead trying to make out you're better than me, which is pretty pathetic really.

ROKERITE I thin I'll start a thread for a bunch of whining tarts to say exactly the same things as they've already said in seven other places.

What exactly did you put in your opening monologue that you hadn't said ad nauseam elsewhere?

I think Rokerite is probably the most skilled and subtle wum we've seen on here for quite a while, from another club anyway.

The username and the fact he's posted it are pretty big clues.

Jackson Corner
Not to mention Exeter, Rochdale, Southend, Oldham, Orient and Yeovil God I can hardly wait.

I fancy Exeter, Orient and Sarfend. Some great trips to all of those in the early 90s.

investment in players (Sidwell replacement) would have seen us safe,

cos its that easy innit!?

took us 100+ years to find a midfield pair capable of taking us to the top flight
and you demand an instant replacement

A decent right winger would also have helped quite a lot. And more than just Harper & Hahnemann playing well for the whole season and Kitson & Hunt for half of it.

And also ignore the fact that other teams did invest and still got relegated.

Spending another 10 million may have made the difference, it may have just meant we had another 10 million to pay back to SJM.

We could have snapped up a loan signing or free transfer who had the tiny amount of difference required, or one of our existing players could have got the goal or made the tackle.

But no one can say for sure what might have been needed to stay up (other than the odd goal or point !)

I'm astounded that BR ever got sacked when I read some of the posts on here!

Did I dream about how poor we were when we averaged one point per game, treated early season games as pre season, reduced fitness levels, signed players on permanent and loan contracts to warm benches, gave away comfortable leads against piss poor opposition, changed the team regardless of results, en masse and had players playing out of position for fun, made bizarre tactical changes during matches, made puerile comments via our manager to the press etc, etc, etc?

Must be just me then!

Don't forget an average of one point per game was pretty much as good as it got with Rodgers, it spent quite a lot of the early part of the season below that.

Was that pre season, pre pre season, pre tendy season or world class season or what?
