The irony of that move given recent events!

Half of me sees it as a rat leaving a sinking ship. The other half can't blame her, given the absolutely dire situation at Reading where they can't even name a full subs bench for games and players seem frequently 'unavailable' for games. I wonder how many of the squad share the same levels of desire and commitment that she seems to have for the game.

I can't really blame her. The circumstances must be really bad and, at the very least, Wycombe will be much more stable than us. At this level, it's got to be about the love of playing football and our situation probably prevents that from happening.

its probably to close this thread to be honest, for a couple of years at least. or are we going to start seeing match reports for under 14's Woodley hammers on here also.

I agree.

AS this thread was started by myself I disagree. The Women's team may have dropped but there is still some interest in this side of the club. Do you suggest this for any thread that gets less posts than it had in the past or is this the only one you think should bite the dust?

Measuring interest in the women’s team on this thread is a waste of time as those interested enough to comment will do so whatever level they’re playing at.

Personally think the girls should have their own forum as then they could have loads of separate threads about particular aspects of their existence rather have one thread which covers everything and can make things difficult to find when needed.

Possibly could/should have won by more, but a huge win anyway. Once again, a freak mishit cross gave them the lead, after that it was all Reading. Bradley and Gazjler caused Selsey problems all game with direct running, and the defence looked relatively calm. Midfield was the biggest shift, Levy playing a blinder as a holding midfielder. Captain Bolitho scored a corker for the leveller, a volley from outside the box into the top corner, then a low shot in the second half to win it.

The players were understandably buoyant at full time - delighted for them, hasn't been an easy season (only two subs again today), hopefully they can kick on a bit from here.
