Snowflake Royal I'd fancy at least three of Rotherham, Bolton, Birmingham and Ipswich to be in the bottom six/seven. Really don't have a feel for the top this year, there's not really anyone who stands out to me. Forest are spending a lot but haven't really been anywhere for a while and spending big like that often backfires. Derby and Leeds are perennial chokers, the relegated teams don't seem that strong to me. Villa are potentially screwed financially. I'd fancy Middlesbrough to be in the top six, but I really can't call the rest.
I'm pretty happy with this combined with this:
Snowflake Royal Interesting view, thanks. I don't feel particularly threatened by any of the relegated teams this year and would expect at least one to be in bottom half danger. There really don't seem to be many obvious relegation candidates with the likes of Millwall and Brizzle doing quite well and the likes of Reading, Brum, Hull and Wednesday surely likely to improve (please at least in our case). I'd love to see Birmingham stay a shambles and actually drop this time though.
Didn't big Mick say that every club that's sacked him got relegated under their new manager the season after? That'd be amusing, given the Ipswich fans I know were saying they'd prefer the excitement of a relegation fight to another boring midtable snorefest.
Ipswich, Bolton, and Rotherham the bottom three, Birmingham one place above in 8th bottom. Hull, and Wednesday improved. Leeds choking. Middlesbrough could still make top 6 with 1 game to go. Forest still nowhere. That's not too shabby.
