morganb As the early part of the Summer Transfer Window opens today, when do we think details of contract renewals will be made public? (It has been reported exclusively on Hobnob that both Wareham and Pereira have renewed)
Also is there any news about potential transfer targets coming in now the Window is officially open?

Royal Ginger If I were out of contract but considering signing I’d leave it as late as possible up until pre-season to test my market. There’s not really any incentive for the likes of Pereira to sign early unless it looked like someone was going to get signed in your place.

Royal Ginger Yes of course, but whilst you’re in high demand as Pereira and his associates know he is, there will be an open discourse and you will know you can bide your time.
The club won’t upset the negotiation with a stroppy deadline nor will they sign a lesser keeper when the Pereira deal is still on the table and the market hasn’t started moving.
