Good news we can now add Gerry McCann as a celebrity Royal.

I wouldn't let my 6 yr old play in a park on her own either. Simples.

wtf?

really?

In a sense of letting her go off down the park on her own? No chance.

@melonhead

Not at all. I do live on an estate and I certainly wouldn't leave her or my youngest in a park without adult supervision, and in that case I certainly wouldn't leave them with strangers either. It's me or the missus watching or nothing.

As for the Mad stad, she is not familiar with her surrounding's, would I leave her on her own or with a friend of hers? Hell no. Especially at half time when the doors are wide open and they could wander off out somewhere. It's not an over reaction, kids get lost all the time due to their exploratory instincts. It's not them I don't trust, it's others.

I have an eight year old and a four year old, and they're allowed to go down to the local leisure centre without us, as long as they're together. It's only a five minute walk, and as they're both good swimmers for their age I really don't see a problem with it.

Fair play, I wouldn't knock you for doing so. I would probably let my eldest do the same if she were eight and a short walk to our local leisure centre. The age gap between 6 and 8 is huge when it comes to awareness and maturity.

My dad tried to lose me at football once but some meddling member of the public returned me to him. I'm sure if you keep trying you'll succeed eventually.

wally bassoon No, but my mind was still racing.

The staff are mentally slow though.

She lterally would go. pour one drink, come back, check the order, go and pour next drink, come back check order again, go and get third drink and so on.

This was the order in front, not my order. I did not have three pints.

first game of the seasons always bad- all the new staff.

Last year the tills weren't working and the staff were innumerate so you basically had to tell them how much to charge you. I still regret being honest. So it sounds like at least this year wasn't that bad.

The question about Melonhead was an honest question. The responses show the difference between those of us who simply wish to make pertinent comments and responses to RFC issues and those who cannot be bothered to use Facebook and exude gratuitous gibberish to each other with RFC only a tenuous reason.

My apologies if I would like this site to be a true RFC issues site - honest and truthful, even if that means stating the obvious ( we need a striker) or hammering the Management for doing it wrong (last year).

Why don't Melonhead and friends just use Facebook or simply revert to nature and actually talk to each other at the game and in the pub? HNA could then revert to a site for RFC fans who wish to talk sense.

HNA will stay as it's always been. A place for people to talk bollocks about Reading FC. Magnified tenfold while you're here.

each to their own opinion...i actually think the football chat should be limited to just the weekends (unless there's a midweek game, then fair enough)

If he got his way, it would be him, here by himself, moaning about about the management and demanding that we sign Austin/Rhodes ad infinitum.

i think thats a huge shame.
was always allowed out to play unsupervised as a child, and im pretty sure the level of child abductions hasnt really grown since then.

 he says while posting a load of gratuitous gibberish with only a tenuous link to RFC

im honoured by the attention, tbf. its gr8 to get a fresh view every now and then, and your comments will be taken on board

I also talk to people at games, or at the pub.
HNA? is simply where i waste my work day.

could always just use the foe button, meaning you wont see my posts
it will enable to tailor your HNA? experience as you see fit.
perhaps you should consider only allowing posts by people you agree with, or everyone who just says the same old crap over and over again.

Post 1. we need another striker
post 2. I am hammering the management as i think they are doing it wrong
post 3. return to post 1.

Enjoy
