I think I'll saunter into this thread and take a seat.

I've been heartily Lol'zing at some of the massive overreactions already. Several from people who I'm not sure even attend that many games.

It's just a game. There's nothing life threatening about it. There really isn't any reason to get embarrassed about a football result.

I will still enjoy my pre game pints as much next season.

I'm sure the cute blond next to me wasn't too impressed. And calm again. Cooling my ardour back down now with a cold dose of reality.

It's only a game no one died. Could be worse imagine if you just bought a beach house on east coast of the states.

The Southampton fans appear more angry and annoyed with their manager than we do!

Were a better team than Southampton and we didn't spend £30m. Not really a calm down, more of a morale booster!

Hi Para. Although I guess you've gone now.

Last night was not good, fair enough. But it was the League Cup. I'd a million times rather get something from QPR on Sunday, even a draw.

Take a chill pill and then take another.

Have a sleep, wake up and work your way through the dream you just had (Reading Lost 7-5 having been 4-0 up)!!

Have given it a few days, read this thread, still not calm!
Maybe I shouldn't have watched the whole game again on tv?

Brian's a legend and I'm enjoying being a Royal as much as ever - that doesn't mean I don't want us to concede fewer goals and win more games but hey, it's not as if The Nag's has run out of matchday beer.

The Reading and Southampton fans who want their manager's out would do well to remember where the clubs were when those managers came in. As someone else said, at least relegation would weed out a few whinging plastics.
