Top FlightTFFwindermereROYAL Wasnt there a talk sport presenter who said Norwich should wait till the end of season and look at our ownership situation and make a move for Stam?
Well seeing they still havent appointed a new manager yet maybe they are taking his advise.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39855621Norwich City's next head coach will come from a shortlist of managers currently in jobs, sporting director Stuart Webber has said.
Webber, who arrived from Huddersfield in April, is heading up the search for a permanent replacement for Alex Neil.
"We have a list of candidates, and once their seasons are finished, we can start to accelerate that process," Webber told BBC Radio Norfolk.
It would be a blow to lose Stam to someone like Norwich. I hope he wouldn't make that move.

CountryRoyal Jaap Stam is only going to leave us for one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Expect him to be Brighton manager within a couple of years.

willrfc Always thought Stam will just be using us as a stepping stone to bigger and better things. He is clearly an excellent manager who plays football the right way, l

Top Flight Credit also due to the owners. The appointment of Stam was a master stroke and just the tonic the club needed.
With so many players demotivated and seemingly unhappy with life and the direction their careers were going Stam was a real breath of fresh air. His footballing ideas and winning mentality gave the squad a new lease of life and renewed focus.
Well done the Thai owners. You learned fast. Sad to see you go now.

Chortle.
Just goes to show how short some people's memories are.
It's all "oh thanks Stam... you're amazing ... I was worried when Brian went but you're the man".
Now 14 games in and people want the guy sacked. That is after 1 year and 126 days in charge.

It's funny how being unremittingly shit with no hope of improvement after a third of the season people are getting really quite worried.

Hound To an extent yes. But lose tomorrow and that’s 1 point out of 5 games at home. We’re not creating chances and we concede every game
Stam has largely got us into this mess and he has a limited period to pull us out of it before the owners (and remember Gourlay seems to run the show and Stam isn’t ‘his man’) pull the plug

We beat Leeds just a couple of games back. Things will turn around and we will win more often.
People are just over reacting

One final one ... amongst many others I'm sure.
I'm on my phone unable to sleep so looking through old posts
EDIT: just to say that Top flight is still supportive of JS. I'm quoting this only because it seems the general memory of fans is stupidly short

Hound Who does like this style? Certainly not the players
People suggest this is a Dutch style or European. It isn’t. This is Stam’s own interpretation and it’s currently awful

Played properly and at pace (believe it or not, the team have done this on occasions, even this season) this style can be very entertaining and exciting. As Glenn Little said: 'Steve Coppell would describe this as 'good football played badly''

Delboy Stam is a dead man walking, the fans do not like the style of football even three wins on the bounce would not change that. He has no choice but to go.
