i wouldnt have, but can see why coppell thinks "give em a chance to reddem themselves"
if we lose again, hell shuffle the pack

I would have thought after last season and his dithering to change a side that got well beaten the previous week would have seen him a bit more ruthless this season. It cost Reading their place in the Premiership last season, it COULD cost them their chance to get back in.

I personally wouldn't have had mass changes but I would have brought Matejovsky in and possibly Duberry.

The OS says only Hahnemann and Ingimarsson can be sure of their place in the team today.

id have brought in karacan to play with cisse, and definitely doobs too
but im happy with the rotation this season, and can see why e doesnt want to mix it too much, though if failure continues the changes you seek will come, and then some IMO

The EP probably has the same interview but he says had 3 or 4 players been bad then there would be an arguement for changes but seeing as though only MH and Ivar were any good that wholesale changes aren't going to happen, words to that effect.

So a different spin on it but basically he's saying it will be the same team.

I think the EP may have got the wrong idea. In the interview coppell says if wont completely change the team, but might make a couple of changes.

WHat do you think?

Not surprised, WRONG THING TO DO

Keeping his love child (Harper) in there will be our demise. Hopefully tonight will prove that.

Yes right thing to do
This team played superbly against Sheffield United and looked like world beaters
For some reason they had an off day against a lively Southampton
If you changed the team after every bad game you wouldn't be much of a manager

Because whenever I've watched us play this season Karacan is the only one with loads of energy running at the opposition and harrying them into making mistakes. That's what it looks like we need. Well it does to me anyway.

No of course not, although i can see my comment may of implied this. I am merely stating that i hope something gives to help open SSC's eyes that harper should not be playing in that team.

That's a shame because you are wrong. Harper is very useful for us. It's just a shame he isn't really compatible with Matejovsky without another bod alongside them.
