Christ! Hughes would be pretty astonishing! I can't say I'd be upset with him. Think he's a bit big for us though.

Rodgers has said he is concentrating on our job...look pretty stupid now if he then turned up at your place after such comments.

If he left I'd rather Rodgers be honest.

Honest managers became a thing of the past since Tuesday night.

Of course he's concentrating on your job. He'd be daft not to until we come knocking on his door with your Chairman's permission.

Pardew told us that he loved our club and wanted to be with us for a very long time. Just days later he was doing his gardening after Brooking and West Ham poached him against our Chairman's wishes.

I'd lay money on him staying with you.

Eamonn Dolan is second favourite at SKY Bet and you havn't even got him on the list. He is a great coach, has done well at the Academy and when he managed Exeter. He would also be a cheap option so my money is on him to be either manager or asst manager.

I voted Rodgers, but based mainly on his Reading connections and reputation as described by a Watford fan on this very forum... Good job it's not my choice then.

As I said on the other thread....this article really does not tell us anything about his intentions. He's hardly going to come out all guns blazing and say he's going to Reading is he? Nowhere in that article does he catagorically deny any interest in coming, and talks of how he is 'flattered' to be linked with us.

Pardew came out with same stuff before he left us.

Rodgers is an RFC fan, has a long relationship with the club, and TBH Watford are a club going nowhere. He'll come if we ask him.

I would actually be worried by his statement.

He doesn't deny about leaving you for us. It would be foolish to say he is not concentrating on Watford. To be honest it is a bit of a nothing statement.

Elliott
SteveRoyal Gustavo Poyet, Other. :)

+1

He would certainly make a very exciting manager and could bring in some exciting flare players.

Glad someone agrees with me.

In fairness, "I'm concentrating on this job" is far more cagey than "I expect to be here for a very, very long time".
