In every game from the Bolton match onwards, he was better than Hunt. HTH.

Even tho his final ball is carp he is still very talented.

I wont forget in the last 10mins where the left back for watford was looking at the sky when jimmy waltzed past him, i think the lb actually shat himself.

I love Jimmy for all his weak points, but he excites me for maybe the wrong reasons.

I salute the reading scouts, a 2nd div player who has so much raw talent it could end up very well.

But at worst he might just be fast. :P

He tore the left back apart today, his runs were awsome, yes maybe should have a better ball at the end of it, or release it a bit earlier, but hes definately going to become a top player (if hes not already)

He's a poor player. He found himself in a number of fantastic positions yesterday and he didn't have a clue what to do. We could have had a hatful if we had a Glen Little in the side yesterday.

I really do hope that James Henry goes and puts in another good performance on Tuesday night. If he does he will surely be on the bench next Saturday to put pressure on the inconsistent Kebe.

Oh the joys of different opinons. The Mirror has Kebe as MoM. From the bits I have seen I'd put that judgement over yours I am afraid.

Positions that through his own skill he got himself into. If he was able to make the final ball he wouldn't be playing for Reading.

He is a class act and that is clear to see by the way he just walks through defenses. As I've said already, the final ball will come in good time.

Sorry but there was an improvement just towards the end.

I put it down to "Ah, crap, I ain't going to get a new contract ..."

so for me AP is closer to the truth than brendy.

If there was ever a discussion where brendy was closer to the truth than AP, I will duck for flying swine.

Yes, I totally agree with drawing comparisons between Gilkesy and Kebe; Gilkesy was many, many times better than Kebe.

Sweeping statement time:

Anyone who thinks Kebe should be starting ahead of Henry is a mong. Unless they've seen training etc. and know something I don't.

From what I remember of Gilkes he was about tipping it round someone and beating them with pace. Admittedly I never saw him at his best, but that isn't anything like what I've seen of Kebe.

Gilkes rarely fell over the ball or walked it straight into a defender. Equally Gikes rarely skinned 2-3 players using skill and trickery.

IMO Kebe comes close to the control of Little and the pace and crossing of Gilkes. But he is horribly inconsistent and far from the finished article. He also strikes me as a bit lightweight and gangly. Potentially if he gets his consistency, improves his crossing and becomes a bit more grounded he could be a upper prem class player.

I feel he'll be up and down and never quite make it myself. But still early days.

LOL

Its just opinion mate, if slightly facetiously
i saw enough of gilkes, and i loved him, as our most exciting player alot of the time,
mainly i was trying to point out that he attained a god like status whilst not being that great end product wise, and could never have walked the ball through 2-3 defenders like kebe can.
wasnt particularly saying they are at all similar players
