Forbury Lion
Wimb Not in the same bracket but I never felt that Bobby Mikhalov or Darren Caskey lived up to their billings either.
To be fair, Caskey did save us from relegation with his goals in the Burns era.

That's perhaps why I'd still class him as a disappointment though because he was signed to help us stay up and consolidate in Division One, not be part of a side scrapping in the third tier.

So that story that we bought Sean Evers by accident - was that true?

Clearly it's him at #1 but closely followed by Scott Murray who came with a lot of hype and was so average it hurt, then James Lambert.

The Caskey h8etrs are idiots; had he been playing against Walsall I'm sure we'd have won that day.

I am going for Graeme Murty. Signed as a flying right-winger, only ever played once in that position as far as I can recall

i find myself agreeing with all of that. Don't like mentioning current players but I was very happy when Reading signed Brian Howard. I have yet to see 1 game where i thought he was brilliant.

How can you justify that? His record for us actually very good.

Ollie Kearns record for us was excellent - but he too was utter shite.

Good player Maurice Cook. Played alongside Rodney Marsh.

Surprising that Baz Savage doesn`t feature here.

Evers remains something of a cult figure at Luton and a section of the Hatters' support still sing "It was always you and me always, and Sean Evers" to the tune of "You and Me Song", by Swedish alternative rock band The Wannadies.

They can't have seen a decent player for a long long time. Possibly since Gilkes rinsed them in the Simod Cup final.. :D

Didn't ever really expect much from him to be fair,

Another one, dunno if he still is but Peter Castle was our youngest ever player when he came on at Watford at the end of 2002/2003, don't think we ever heard from him again :D

papereyes Though I can't remember who it was who said about Khalifa Cisse

"He looks like he'll be our Patrick Vieira"

Are you thinking what he's thinking.

Actually, I'll throw in one more from that period. Andre Stephane Bikey-Amougou.
Absolutely superb but also a bone-fide nut job.

I think I said he played like Vieria in the Peace Cup game against Lyon

Even utter shitpcunts like Brian Howard have one odd decent game from time to time though
