Rhys The Royal
Gav Only trouble I saw was some mouthy (unt wearing a Man U shirt in Sainsbury's Winnersh car park who fronted up to a guy for just wearing a Reading shirt.

The Reading fan stood there and shouted as loud as you like in his face "JUST GO AWAY"

Poor bloke, been shouted at a few times today it seems...... at least he was quick with the come-backs though.

Oi, don't misquote me!

I've actually just remembered a CD spinning past my face at high speed whilst walking past McDonalds and minding my own business.

May not have been United though, could have been a Reading fan who didn't like my jeans or someone shopping at Comet and pissed off about the football traffic.

Maguire I ran about 70 United today. They weren't anythign special.
Ran as in ran away from?

Sounds like the visitors were Wolves fans in disguise.

No. I went windmilling down the A33 and they just scattered.

It went in the bushes... I'd imagine it was the Scorpians' Greatest Hits.

Got started on by 2 United fans at the station, didnt think it was wise to get involved seeing as i am 16 and there were 2 of them, so just threw my coffee over one and ran.

Only just got back, traffic was shocking but after that performance and result, who cares?

I only witnessed one bit of trouble after the game and that was a group of three meat head United fans on the Basingstoke Road. They approached the bus stop singing and shouting very aggressively! One bloke in a Reading polo shirt, and only the one bloke, started walking towards them and shouting at the top of his voice "COME ON YOU C*NTS, I'LL RIP YOUR F*CKING INBRED HEADS OFF!!!"

I actually felt quite embarrassed for them as they quickly turned around and walked very gingerly towards the motorway rather than the town centre. In fact, one of the three actually started walking back towards the stadium before realising he was walking towards more Reading supporters and his mates were nearly gone.

The_Cat When I got into Reading station following the train from Maidenhead I got there to find that they were searching all Man U and Reading fans there, they even had one of those metal dectecting things that you have to walk through when you go to the airport.

TOTALLY SHOCKED!!!

I always thought Man U fans were ok. Never in my wildest dreams would I have expected this sort of trouble. Why??

We all know they're bigger and better than we are. We have no history really. Certainly no bad history. Or am I missing something?? I thought it'd just be a friendly affair with them applauding us politely and giving compliments wishing us the best of luck as new boys.

Why on earth be so angry towards us?

Oh yeah, we stopped them going top.

But it sounds like they were really up for it anyway. W*nkers.

Much as I hate violence, part of me wouldn't be displeased if we returned the favour. I'm sure the Chelsea boys will be more than happy to help us out.

Northern monkies. I officially hate them now.

Anyone who knows the slightest bit about football knows Uniteds away support is very volatile and contains a fair amount of trouble makers. I posted a message last week saying as much and was laughed off. Trouble like that happens at every United away game

As we walked past liked like some ManUre fans were getting out of coach and starting on someone, either their own fans or Reading. It carried on up the road a little and then some of them started looking into the hedges on the side, as if someone was being beaten up down there, then someone walked back up and they all got back on the coach. The horses and police then arrived so i think they got back off.

Went to the Farriers for a drink pre-match and thought I had walked into a drinker in darkest Lancashire! There was an unofficial Utd coach party in there and they were LOUD. All the Heysel and anti City songs at full volume. We had a good laugh with a few of the lads outside but it certainly looked like there were more than a few nutters amongst them. Only about 2 of the whole coach party were wearing colours and, I suspect, had their choice of drinking establishment been different, it could have kicked off.

Ok Cheers, I heard last night that they got off and pathetically started on one person who happened to have a child??

Any truth?
