duberry will stay till at least the end of next season, as will bennett.
sodje will be offski, DLC maybe, and sorry to see him go
other than that i cant see much movement at the back during the summer

It's not his fault, but it just seems obvious to me that he's been unlucky and we've moved past the point where he is useful to us.

I fully expect him, Sodje and Duberry to be gone by the end of the next transfer window, with Mate leaving before the end of January, probably with Pearce.

I'd probably agree about Brown.

Way off the mark with Pearce though - he is going nowhere but the first team.

fair enough> i've not seen him play, I'm just going on youth team previous.

He is very good - strong, good ball player, composed and has a sensible head on his shoulders. He's been a star at Northampton and I'm very confident he will be the next Adie Williams (although he is way better than Adie was at that age).

Race between him and James Henry to make the first team for a league game (which I think Henry will win purely because it is less risk to stick a youngster in on the wing plus Pearce can;t play this season)

well we have 6 cbs as it is,BK,II,IB,MD, bennett and pearce(and thats if mate goes straight away)
im hoping they wont sell pearce,
so that leaves the arrival of mensah in the summer? to make up the 7 mentioned
plus LB cover if DLC goes which i already said,
so im not really saying he's lying at all am i

you mean apart from him saying there were likely to be a lot of changes as we have 9 centrebacks on the books at the moment?

he said 9 on books, and there will comings, and goings

we have nine currently including sodje, mate, pearce and gunnarson?
one of whom isnt a CB
and one who is off to brum,
+ mate, who knows about him

and one(pearce) who will be, but is very young

leaving the 6 we have plus one more 1st teamer to come in making up the 7 that we apparently need?

No, we have 9 genuine centre backs - not including the likes of Halls and Gunner....
