Royal Lady I was in love with Jerry Williams from 1981 to about 1985. He's old and fat now though. He'll ALWAYS be a legend for his skinning of Kenny Sansom. 8)

He did the then England left back time and time again that day and laid Trevor's goal on a plate for him with a superb cross.

Always seemed to be the boo boy. Don't know why, in the days of one substitute and a first team squad of 16 players, he was hugely valuable, the classic utility man who could play just about anywhere. His biggest failing was that he was always the second best player in the squad in every position. It was great to see both him and Gary Peters get substitute run outs at the end of the Simod Cup final. The least they deserved for their service to the club.

All regulars from the 05/06 and 06/07 team should be called back if we do it again, the best team in our history. Shorey, Sidwell, Kitson, Little and Sonko were integral to us being so good once. As for the rest, they should be from Murty's era if we're thinking about his testimonial. Having Shaka, Kerr, Gilkes, Osborne, Lovell and all the rest for Parkinson was great, but they were his time. For Murty it should have the likes of Parkinson, Forster, Cureton, Butler, Adie Williams, Andy Hughes, John Salako, Sammy Igoe, Tony Rougier and a few others I've forgotten.

If we're talking all time legends:

Kitson
Sidwell
Shorey
Little
Shaka
Dariusz
Trevor Senior
Cureton
Forster
Parkinson
Adie Williams
Darren Caskey
Barry Hunter
Gilkes
Osborne

I'm running dry now, I don't have much knowledge pre 2000.
