Samuel slips on the ball and concedes possession back to Sunderland just when the Royals were building up some momentum for a late charge.

Nope - no positives there

We take the positives and we move on

Don't forget that 'It looked like 0-0 for a while and I brought three forwards on because we needed to score and we scored a lot of goals that way last season'

NTRoyal
BraisingsteakRoyal Do the streams show post-match interviews?

I can tell you exactly what McDermott will say if that helps?

"I've seen enough out of my squad to tell me we don't need to panic and spend money in Jan.. There are positives from the last few games and a few pieces we will be working on in training. We will be fine. Sunderland were awesome tonight and we were just unlucky to catch them at their best. Thanks."

McDermott is out...

He has done great and still a legend in my eyes but he is given us no hope to stay in this league.... When I say that I still think we will go down but the new manager will bring new ideas to the championship and hopefully it will work better than McDermott's hope/hoof Football.

Good news is that released academy defender Carl McHugh is getting rave reviews for his performance against Arsenal tonight.

So for those who told us not to worry as it would be the results against teams around us that matter..........................................................
I make it 1 point out of 15 and that against the bottom club.

Rumpole The crazy thing is that if we'd just missed out on promotion McDermott would be winning regularly and happy and safe in his job. Punished for bringing success to the club.

Agreed. Poor git is being hung out to dry. However - I can't see how you just get the confidence back in a manager by dropping down a league.. it's too damaging.

F8Cking Dellor is a complete moron. Completely excusing McDermott saying that he hasn't got the resources - whose fault is that? And that he is a tactical genius!
