JIM Sorry LEEDS UNITED went through a long haul. Why not Orient ????

Leeds were being bought by a guy with a criminal record and had a somewhat complex history already. No wonder it took a long time.
Villa have Ben up for sale for quite a while and there seems no deal likely.

This isn't like buying a mobile phone where you chose a model, pay your money and 24 hours later you make calls. There is no model for how a football club sale works and we just have to sit and wait. It will either happen or it won't and the parties involved may have reasons for it taking a bit longer than we, with our lack of understanding, assume it ought to

Who is Ben?

No idea, nor do Villa which is why they are getting rid

JIM June 26, Leyton orient revealed italy millionaire in talks, Tomorrow , press conference to announce new owners plans. what the f..k is going on with READING.????????????

Orient's new Signor Grande is Francesco Becchetti, who was previously mentioned as a possible buyer of RFC - see here -

http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/footb ... an-6898194

Apparently he was already listed as a director of Orient so presumably had already passed the FAPP test.

What about estuaries, creeks and deltas? They always seemed to me to be something defined by the bits on each side of them, rather than things of themselves.

think creak is just a colloquial term for a river or stream

Wikipedia In British English and in many other countries in the Commonwealth, as well as some parts of the United States (near the Chesapeake Bay, parts of New England[1]), a creek is a tidal water channel.

im not going to include it either way.
in australia its definitely a stream or river
it will only cause confusion- americans will think im talking about an estuary, australians will think a stream.
chaos could reign

The club's accounts up to 30th June each year are usually lodged at Companies House and therefore available for public scrutiny either in December or the following January so it will be a while yet before we can see the state the club is in.
