Basingstoke Royal I will look for you and let you know.

I imagine 100% of the people that have said he played well were at the game, so it will probably be a waste of your time though.

I would doubt that very much, how did you like his assist for the hull goal? or twice in the first 8 minutes where he passed into touch?

He's exempt because he's karacan...you are just backing it up. let me guess you are also a church hater.

Correct. Go on - show me the edits of what Church did in that game (or the rest of the season if you like) while you are at it!

Let's face it, you are both blinkered.

Church is not useless and he does bring something to the team. He ran the Hull defence ragged yesterday and pressured the keeper often. Karacan also added a lot and was a keystone of the midfield; he made the odd mistake - funny that (Maybe he is a human being and is allowed a bit of human error).

We lost, but that doesn't automatically mean the players are individually useless.

Gav The point is for me is, how on earth is Federici supposed to know which player to close down? He's stranded in no man's land. Instead of fully committing to one or the other he must have been full of doubt about if McLean was offside or not, so must have been wary of the potential pass and hedging his bets accordingly. It's an absolute shambles of a decision.

Precisely - it's doesn't matter whether he touched the ball, he was interfering with play!

I think there is general agreement with that (a few dissenters of course) but we aren't going to change the result so we need to live with the outcome and move on.

Maybe we need a new thread, but there are what ten clubs with a shout of the POs right now?

IF we get in 2-3 players that can be on-stream withing 3-4 weeks
does anyone think we won't make the POs?

And if we make it to the POs, would we not have a very decent chance of making it to Wembley?

And if we make it there. a fair chance of going up?

1st half I thought we were good, just unable to get the goal that all the dominance (bar a free kick that Feds did well to tip over the bar) deserved.

2nd half we seemed flat.

The goal should have been disallowed as Maclean was well offside and if chasing after the ball doesn't constitute "active" then the law is barmy.

However, Maclean should have gone for his blatant elbow earlier in the 2nd half on Gorks

As should the #3, who took out Antonio off the ball when already on a yellow card.

Karacan had a good 1st half, whilst no-one had a good 2nd half.

Move on.
