What on earth do we do with the Pog? Way too expensive and clearly superfluous to requirements now. Doubt we'll see him start again this season

Yeah its pretty unlikely that Murray or cox will get injured or have a bad run of form in the remaining few games this season

Dare a say a "dream start" given the position we were in just three weeks prior to the season and with all the injuries. With many starters (or former starters by the looks of it) coming back in the next 60 days, I'm feeling optimistic.

1st time I've seen us this season, enjoyable game. When we forgot to play football we looked a bit crap there with too much hoof ball when under pressure, but for half an hour in the 1st half we looked like a pretty decent team.

Federici did keep us in it in the 1st half with some excellent saves (what about that double save?!!) and they looked the more likely to get the winner for most of the 2nd half so no way should we be getting carried away with this little run.

Gunter seemed completely out of sorts.

Love Norwood's passing.

Akpan was decent.

Hector excellent.

Promising.

Hector excellent?
You must be taking the piss, surely.
Rubbish throughout. Misjudged the flight of 90% of their aerial balls, hopeless marking of Fuller. Gave too much space for the first goal. Needlessly gave away the freekick for their second, and almost gifted Millwall another after that.

Gunter wasn't much better. Murray also looked poor.

Cox and Norwood our best players. Federici made some top saves, but a big mistake for their second.

This, totally agree, [edit sorry] I think Gunter looks a liability this season, plus the officials were a bit shit after the penalty was given

:D For a young player to come up against an experienced beast like Fuller was likely to test him to the full. I thought he coped admirably.

wow, indeed did not see us being this far up the league, touching distance of the league leaders. can still see frailties in the back line and at this point in time would struggle if Hector/Pearce got injured or Obita as he seems to be at the heart of most right hand side set pieces. Norwood is looking a steal and pleased with Blackman's contributions thus far, with McCleary, HRK, Williams and Karacan to come back in, we are going to be looking very strong indeed

Sounds like Norwood was pinging the passes around again, carrying on from Saturday, what a find he must be, weren't the Huddersfield fans quite dismissive of his sale as well? Either they were upset with it or they certainly weren't utilising him correctly!

I enjoyed Blackman's confidence for the penalty.

He strode up with the ball under his arm and dismissed the others who seemed to want to take it off him with a "no fcuking way Jose" swagger, then took the perfect pen. Nice one Honor.

Blackman won the penalty and as far as he was concerned no one else need think about taking it. I agree, I love that confidence. And having been able to watch my first game of the season, albeit on an internet stream, Cox and Murray are a formidable pair up front and I was very impressed with Norwood. Also Obita deserves every bit of praise he gets.

Yes we were shaky at times, especially in the back, but overall we are playing some very good football...

Hector did some good stuff but Fuller got the better of him too often imo. A good experience though which he'll be all the better for.

We weren't particularly good, especially when we stopped bothering to try and play football. The midfield went missing a little bit in the second half and Murray wasn't doing a great job of holding it up.

Norwood very impressive again though. Needs a better partner than Akpan alongside him otherwise we'll get a little bullied in there but his passing is excellent and he sees passes that no one else does. A real find.

Cox MOTM. Best he's played in either spell with us.

Really looking forward to seeing how we do with McCleary in the side. With Norwood and Cox linking midfield and attack he sshould be able to get plenty of good ball. Mackie did today and for all his work and effort he doesn't do an awful lot with it.

It was Hector who needlessly gave away the free kick for their second when he pushed Fuller by the corner flag. I don't think he coped admirably at all, but Fuller is a very experienced player so I'm not going to criticise Hector too much.

He will have a learned a lot tonight.
