Rare agreed jimmy. They've smashed it with 6 wins on the bounce.

Barnsley had our number today and the age old problems of limited options upfront hurt us as we couldn’t fashion good chances whilst we were still in the game.

Rushesha was criminal jogging back a few times when they were breaking. And time and again Garcia was caught several yards to high and taken out the game with a pass round him or over the top.

Wing really is a totem, he was carrying the team at times, putting in Savage levels of running.

Was never to be, result didn’t matter, just the takeover. Was great to have the place full, and my voice is now oxf*rd. Not sure how many more years of standing I've got in me either. Hard on the knees and hips.

Shit the bed in front of a big crowd, we definitely have our Reading back"

Second to every ball and Barnsley were the ones who looked like they were fighting for the play offs. Although if Knibbs buries it from a yard out at 0-0 then I think they'd have been back on the beach.

Would've been 5 or 6 if it wasn't for Pereira.

Good luck to Orient in the play offs. If they don't go up I hope they bury Barnsley twice next season. Doubt the Barnsley fans will be singing their name then.

Linesman had flagged offside, so didnt matter if Knibbs put it in the net.

How oxf*rd predictable, a big crowd, something to play for, and we bottle it again. Soft as shit bunch of bottlers.

It's probably as well that we didn't get as far as the play offs or Wembley because it could have been embarrassing.

Fair play to Leyton Orient after winning 6 on the bounce.

Would have got Stockport in the semis, would have ended then.

Reckon Charlton will win the POs.

I think Knibbs was wondering the same thing... he gave the lino the thumbs up.

A poor performance, but a nice end to a good season with a lot of positivity on the way

Highlight - man standing up and leaving because we let in a 3rd, while he shouted 'bloody disgrace!' towards to pitch. I burst out laughing. Can't help but think his expectations for the season were somewhat off.

Lowlight - some teenagers properly beating up an old man on the stairs on the way out as they said he was a p**do.

Blessing in disguise, not ready for Championship, shame we might lose some of our better players

It was a good reminder of just how limited we are as a team at times - and a) how bloody brilliantly they did to even get close to the play offs and b) how much work there is to do in the summer

Crowd were very good and stayed with the team and loads of people stayed to clap the team at the end

Yeah, best supported lap of appreciation I can think of outside title seasons.

Players didn't seem to want to leave at the end of it, neither did the SE corner or C1871

Heroic effort to get 7th and 75 points which would be enough more often than not.

But being honest, Orient are a better, more balanced side than us and deserve the play offs. We have lost our last 2 home games to mid table sides with nothing to play for and what's more deserved nothing from ether game.

Let's hope we can now strengthen in a few areas as if we can next season could be exciting.

Good bet to win the play offs with the form they’re on.

I guess no playoffs gives us that two or so weeks we could do with to plan.

Playoffs has to be the aim.

I'm hoping Carey has a list of targets already lined up and with new owners we should be a pretty attractive proposition for most Div1 players. Hopefully we can keep things the Reading Way and get a few decent freebies in to enhance the squad nicely for next season. :D :D

Important thing is to not go mad. Do what we've been doing, frees and cheapos well scouted, supplemented with maybe the odd moderate fee. Just with a more free hand.

Keep developing youth and giving them a pathway.

Was easier to shrug off this result thanks to Orient thrashing Huddersfield. Hope that is the last time I see Rushesha in a Reading shirt.
