Stranded Sorry flippant remark, all clubs will play a mix of reserve and first team players during the group stages at the very least. You wouldn't play your best players in 3 games close together in those conditions in what is to all intents and purposes a few friendlies.

Agreed, teams will take a squad and use it ! As ever the term 'reserve' won;t mean much for us as we'll just rotate our 20 man first team squad. Whether it's Lita / Doyle / Kitson or Sonko / Bikey / Ivar doesn;t make a huge amount of difference !

Don't think it is. Their trails show they are covering the Asia Cup with Liverpool and Pompey. the Emirates Cup and the Amsterdam Tournement. Have seen no mention of the Peace Cup.

Bloody Typical!!!

Just went to the boss to ask for time off and it seems there is an important conference I must attend that very week in Qingdao!

Qingdao for God sake!!

I'll be able to see South Korea from there!!

Finding it quite hard to find flights valid for the whole tournament. The closest I found was http://www.cheapflights.co.uk/flights/seoul/gatwick/ but that's no good due to the dates...

Just spoke to the event organisers who I know through work. The most likely TV partners are Setanta or Eurosport but no TV deal is done yet

Can you not get a flight over then? Will be cheaper and surely you'll get some time off? Work paying for your accom and most of the flight, you just have to fly a little bit further. Chin up lad.

I was throwing back the exact words he used at me on the other thread. I didn't really mean them. ;)

yeah, thats all wrong

kettle calls pot, "you are black"
the pot is confused and says "i know, what are you on about mr kettle? i always have been"

plus kettle and pots are lacking hands, fingers, and actual ears, so would have great difficulty in using a phone at all, although some sort of workaround that works through vibration could be rigged up, given some notice.
