Wax Jacket Lewes stripped out all of their promoted first team and have shipped in a load of scarcely semi-pro players for their first stab at the Conference. they're bottom 3 material and getting worse.
this game tells us absolutely nothing about how good our reserves are , or the relative strengths of the players in that team vis-a-vis their 1st team equivalents

Ginger Ninjas Strong looking XI for game with QPR today....
1 Mikkel Andersen
2 Graeme Murty
3 Scott Golbourne
4 Brynjar Gunnarsson
5 Kalifa Cisse
6 Sam Sodje
7 James Henry
8 Leroy Lita
9 David Mooney
10 Gylfi Sigurdsson
11 Oliver Bozanic
Good to see Bryn back - will definitely give us a different option for the midfield if he can fully regain fitness

Thanks for that.
It's always interesting to read match reports from the opposition website. Here we get QPR up against "first team regulars", Murty, Gunnarsson, Cisse and Sodje...what do they know? I suppose it means 'players we've heard of'.
And, of course, Cisse bags an "unlikely equaliser". Well it would be.

Thanks Turns8, but does anybody else get that annoying situation where you can't get back to this forum from that page via the back button? It just keeps flicking back to the same page and I have to call up this site separately again. I get it with the RFC OS as well, and it's flipping annoying.
Appreciated anyway.

QPR Reserves maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-1 draw against a strong Reading outfit at Loftus Road.
Samuel Di Carmine opened the scoring for the R's early in the second half for Gareth Ainsworth's side, only for Kalifa Cisse to bag an unlikely equaliser for the visitors in the final minute of normal time.
In truth, Rangers deserved more for their efforts
In an even opening... James Henry fired an early warning shot for the visitors...
Seconds later, Gunnarsson tried his luck from distance...
Reading were the dominant force and when Sodje rose to meet Olivier Bozanic's free-kick eight minutes later...
Rangers grew in stature as the half wore on though and following a neat piece of build-up play involving Buzsaky and the excellent Bolder, Romone Rose fired straight at Mikkel Anderson.
The second period was barely five minutes old when Rangers took the lead...
Buoyed by their goal, the R's began to play some impressive counter-attacking football...
Despite the R's improved showing, it was Reading who should've scored the next goal of the contest in the 68th minute...
Clovis Kamdjo headed against the angle of post and bar late on, before Cisse rose unchallenged to hand the visitors an unlikely point

Sounds like we were never in it.
