madmickb I must admit I was moaning about Brendon but yes lets be fair it realy is not his fault we have a chairman who lets be honest has put the club on the map in the last few years, but he has now got to the stage where he needs to sell the club to someone to take it to the next level and that means real investment. Also we need to get rid of that clown Hammond who no doubt cocked up this whole transfer deal with Tommy Smith and now Watford are taking the piss out of us, we now are the laughing stock of the football world

Hammond's a hero.

So was Hitler to the Nazis

Er, not quite.

As I recall, Coppell said to Shorey (and I paraphrase, of course), "West Ham have offered £3m for you. Everton have just paid £6m for Leighton Baines. Do you think you're better than Leighton Baines?", to which Shorey said "Yes I bloody do, thanks very much".

Bid turned down on Shorey's advice.

Apologies if I've got this wrong (no saracasm intended!) I could have sworn we had clauses put into his move to Sham that said he couldn't come in and get any of our players? Hands up if I'm wrong though

What I said was taken from one of Coppell's last STAR Fans' Forums but I can't comment on any anti-Pardew clauses as I've never heard of them.

skipper When old offski is fit, we'll be more likely to score, and with Hunt starting today, we're getting back to having some experience in the line up.

But the kids are playing very well, Sig was brilliant today. Davis is beginning to impress, Karacan was excellent. W're getting there, it just takes time.

At last someone with some sense.

Only because I've not contributed to the thread before.

Seeing the crap spewing forth at the moment I view many of the contributors on here with utter contempt. I now choose not to enter into further discussion with such morons so I'm afraid you will have one less ally for a while Royalee.

Rodgers' way will work - it'll take time.

End of story.

I am f*cking furious tonight but this is ridiculous. You can't sack a manager after four games. Not his fault the club is bereft of any experienced player.

That's VERY debatable - he had Harper and Gunnarsson (sic) on the bench and Matejovsky doing whatever but not playing. I have to say two of those players would have added some experience and guile. There's something strange going on here - JM moving out all the high wage earners in favour of cheap replacements?

That's a relief because at this rate we'll get 23 points. Now that's a revolution.

There's no such thing as "baby school", you silly little boy.

Anyway back to football. How do think, using all of your years of life experience and football nous, we should get us out of the sh*t that we are currently in??
