It would be nice if Dai Yongge and Couhig both came on and shook hands after signing the contracts. Reading fans can then show some appreciation for Dai's efforts and wish him luck for his next adventure.

Aren’t these things all done by Docusign type of online apps these days? Don’t think businesses would be able to cope with actual physical documents these days. Guarantee if they try a “on the pitch” signing they won’t have a working pen in the place.

Why anyone would have any expectation over when an announcement will be made at this point is beyond me.

Its done when its done and there's no reliability about anything until that moment. No matter who says what.
