But seriously, finally it's over and we really can look forward and hopefully upward. Though not too upward, we don’t want to trip over our own feet or walk into a wall

katweslowski A few people highlighting this part of the statement:Redwood is ambitious and dedicated towards the club returning to its rightful place within the English football pyramid, while adhering to clear principles of honesty , transparency, and financial sustainability
Both a dig at DY, but also hopefully a really clear indication of the type of club they want to run.

Er... we're already in our right place within the pyramid historically. Lol.

Approximate Tier Breakdown (Post-1920):
Second Tier: ~50 seasons
Third Tier: ~40 seasons
Fourth Tier: 2–3 seasons
Top Tier (Premier League): 3 seasons (2006–08, 2012–13)

If you're looking at the 153 year history, and the 80s and 90s - when let's be real, we were a totally different team - then yea maybe over that period we average out as a 3rd division club.
But times change. By that logic, the likes of Brighton are not in their rightful place. We've got a new ground, state-of-the-art training facility, a great record of academy products over the last 20 years, women's team success (until you know what), 3x seasons in the premier league, FA cup semi-final appearences, and a bigger fanbase.

Well, that does not look right. We were in the fourth tier far longer than 2-3 seasons, and the second tier far less than 50 years.

And how do you think the fans would react if the owners said that

katweslowski I love that the happiest day on HNA? in about 15 years and it's descended into bickering again - this time over the words used by the new owners (who likely glanced at the statement to authorise), and also at our perceived "correct" league position.
I look forward to many more weeks of these casual arguments

windermereROYAL After all these years isn`t it time to spell confirmed the way it`s meant to be spelt instead of acting like a load of little dyslexic kids?
I like to think most of us are grown up adults on here.
