MouldyRoyal It'd be a huge task, but I would love to see a complete timeline of events in the Dai ownership. For those of us who weren't alive or old enough to understand events of the Thames Valley Royals era, this has been the period of greatest uncertainty in the club's collective memory. While a lot of it is fresh right now, give it a couple of years and I reckon some of the specifics of just how mad it got may be forgotten. Would be nice to have a complete overview with all of the events of the last 18 months (Bearwoodgate, Chiron, Banning Order, Bowengate etc etc) in the context of Dai's overall ownership and our league results.

Someone is bound to write a book. Are the RFC historians still alive and active?

I see David Downs in the car park of Tilehurst Waitrose every now and again, and I'm pretty sure I've seen Roger Titford about. (If anyone hasn't read his ousting book "Rusty Tin and Shiny Plastic" I can strongly recommend it).

Hound Interestingly* a fair bit of praise for Pang from Couhig in his latest interview for the sale
Sounds like Dai really had very little to do with it

Brogue Yeah they need to do something with the bars to be honest. Perhaps bring back the guys with the beer in back packs walking the concourse. Or the pre ordering of pints for collection at half time. The queues are stupid even for at the games with low attendances. Or at least start pouring pints 10 minutes before half time. They need another shipping container outside the east selling beer also. Get the big screen back so people can watch the early ko put up some gazebos or something so there are covered areas out side in shit weather.
Turn the season ticket card into a payment card you can top up, then have the ability to get royalty points for purchases, or things like buy 9 pints get the 10th free.

Armadillo Roadkill In terms of match day experience, I'd say the three biggest things are:
Fix the PA - get it loud, get play lists of crowd favourites that appeal (as far as possible) to young and old, build the atmosphere. I Won't Back Down by tom Petty might actually work, a referenced in the BBC interview.
The bars - there must be someway to get more drinks and food into more people more quickly. Get the best match day experience people who have the experience to really design the whole thing.
The toilets - get the simple things right. -Replenish the soap more than once per season. Get more hand driers, and get ones that work. Improve ventilation. Keep the place spotless. It's 2025 for God's sake. Functioning toilet facilities at a football stadium should not be difficult.
