Back From The Game - Norwich

by Thou Voice » 13 Nov 2010 19:56

...and all I have to say is "thank you Skippy" for putting us in such an awful position that the rest of the team did well to recover from.

That goal keeper is shit and I have to ask our manager...

Do You See?

I'm biting, but I'm not sure how you can blame Fed for his wall falling apart, Khiz giving Martin the entire goal to shoot at and Mills playing a brilliant through ball for Holt.

Nothing much else to say really.

So annoyed right now.

DIRE defending in the first half basically handed Norwich a 3-1 lead on a plate. What was Mills doing giving a backpass like that?

Second half we bossed it and SHOULD of won. Clear penalty as well.

For 22 minutes we pumped balls into the box and just couldn't score. All these missed chances will cost us at the end of the season. We must of had about 10 chances on target yet we couldn't bury it.

Ruddy and his time wasting -

Great atmosphere in the 2nd half.

Spot on.
How Jem didn't even get booked for his foul( which was worse than Holt's) I,Murty ,Lambert and Worthington really don't know.
The penalty was one of the few things the ref got right and anybody who saw the West Brom game at Blackpool the other night (he sent off 2 WBA players)will not have been surprised at the way he favoured the home side tonight.

The only decision the referee got right tonight was the Reading penalty.
The sending off alone was a disgrace!

You could argue that he went down far too quickly and easily for Holts.

I'd blame him for the wall too. Liming it up and having enough bodies in there is the keepers responsibility and then he could always have done a bit better with the shot.

Not really much he could do with the near post effort, but a keeper never likes to get beaten there.

How can you blame Federici for the mistake Mills made?

Who has?

I think he could've done better to maybe prevent the goal, as he's there to do, but I don't blame him for Mill's cock up.

Norwich 4 shots on target 3 goals, Reading 12 shots 3 goals. We can't convert our chances.

I haven't seen a replay yet, but it looked to me as though he closed down the angle quite considerably, and Holt did extremely well to squeeze it in.

Finally McDermott sees how shit Howard has been and hauls him off. He was woeful today, one good pass to Long, but that was it. Should be dropped for Watford.

I thought people cheering off Howard was pathetic.

Get behind him, not boo him.

Agreed, apologies to norwich, but we were on the end of a howling officiating decision against cardiff which also cost us two points so what goes around comes around, hopefully they get the rub of the green against someone else, but i'd rather officials just stopped being crap altogether.

Also missed a blatent penalty few mins before half time, just poor. Favoured us as a whole, but that was a stone wall pen.

1 goal in 4 chances is fairly standard for most teams, most games

Howard was the least of our problems over the 100 minutes you c0ck.

Too many failures today in part, many heroes too...in part (I'd include Kish, Mills and Griff in both of those catagories).

The kid from Tooting is finding a nice little niche with the impact role tho'
