rfcjoe Mcdermott has his favourites. It's that simple. Mcanuff for example could probably kill Mcdermotts wife & still get picked.

Svlad Cjelli As McCarthy is younger it's easier to keep him second choice.
Federici's ego is so big that if he was dropped he'd probably storm off in a huff and there'd be all sorts of grief.

Elmer Park I have a feeling next season our first choice keeper will either be Andersen or, if he has been sold by then, will come from outside the current playing staff. As far as I can see Federici and McCarthy are our two most marketable assets and therefore the 'family silver' so I am expecting both to be sold next summer and possibly McCarthy in January.

Alan Partridge I agree with SnowballIt's a very similar dilemma to when Ashdown got the shirt from Hahnemann and put in a string of quality performances. i felt at the time Ashdown could have been England material, height, presence, kicked well, made saves he looked the real deal.

We shouldn't DROP Feds, but if we could sell for a decent amount...

Simon's Church Who realistically would be looking to buy him though? Same goes for Federici.
